The proposed E-procurement (electronic procurement, sometimes also known as supplier exchange) website is a Business-to-government purchase and sale of supplies, work and services through the Internet as well as other information’s and networking systems.
The e-procurement web sites allow qualified and registered bidder to look for goods and services. Depending on the approach, the Municipal Planning and Development Coordination Department of Cabuyao may specify costs or invite bids. Transactions can be initiated and completed through E-procurement system that will possibly automate some advertisement or finding suppliers. Finding, reviewing of bids and documents become easier and faster with the use of e-procurement Web site. The new generation of E-Procurement is now on-demand or a software-as-a-service.
